MARELCO POWER SYSTEMS, INC. ACQUIRED BY BERTRAM
CAPITAL
Michigan company acquired by California private
equity group
HOWELL, MI., January 31,
2008 – Marelco Power
Systems, Inc. a leading designer and manufacturer of custom
transformers and other electrical devices for the power control,
motion control and alternative energy industries, has been
acquired by Palo Alto, California based private equity firm
Bertram Capital. Financial terms were not disclosed.

us the flexibility and resources necessary to pursue the growth
opportunities available to Marelco” said Marelco Power
Systems Chief Operating Officer David Ratliff. “We are
very excited about the long term prospects of this business.”
